Welcome to my worlds...

A special thanks to all the crew at

Printing Error found in "Weapon of Flesh"!!

For all of you who have purchased the first run printing of Weapon of Flesh, please note that an error has occurred with Page 23. It appears that Page 21 became jealous of Page 23 and pushed it right out of the book, taking its place altogether!

This will be corrected in the next printing, but rest assured that you are in possession of a now rare volume indeed. Only 100 of these were printed, and I am more than happy to supply you with the missing page.

If you crave the missing page, please download it right here.

In print now! A huge hit at Dragon Con.
I got some great comments on the artwork at Mobicon in May.

Once again, I owe so much to my personal GOD of illustration

Here's a taste

Forged from flesh…

And magic.

Made to kill…

But not to feel.

Those who made him, made him for one purpose:
To be the most efficient killer, the most lethal assassin the world had ever seen.

But something went wrong with their plan.
The Master is gone…
The Weapon is free…
And in a dangerous world, a weapon does what a weapon is made to do.

Without even a name, the weapon chooses one.
They call him Lad
And so the weapon begins to become a person…

But the boy-weapon has been told his destiny awaits him,
Though he knows not what that destiny holds.

And the one who has paid for the weapon to be forged awaits his prize…
Impatiently…

The Grandfather of Assassins has invested nearly two decades and a fortune in his perfect weapon, and when it does not arrive on time, he begins to search.

His hunters are seeking Lad, and Lad is seeking his destiny.

There is only one problem:

No one thought a weapon of flesh would fall in love.

A weapon, forged for an Emperor...
A Paladin's soul...
And a girl trying to save her mother, by any means possible...

These things have nothing in common... except in the city of Tsing, where life and death are as simple as the edge of a knife,
or as complex as imperial politics.

To maintain his tenuous hold on the hearts of the people, Emperor Tynean Tsing III needed a symbol of his just reign, his impartial judgment, and his swift hand against opposition.
What better symbol than a weapon forged by a great Blademage and imbued with the soul of a Paladin, a weapon made for his hand alone?
The perfect weapon...

But is any weapon perfect? Is any man's soul flawless? What happens when the tiniest defect goes unnoticed? What happens when an Emperor's life, and an Empire's fate, are held hostage by a weapon of power gone mad?

One girl holds the fate of the Empire in her unknowing hands. But what if she doesn't want to be found? What if she's a fugitive, hardened by a life of cruel lessons? Someone must find her. Someone must tell her the truth, and convince her that it is in her best interest to save the world that she has grown to despise.

Death Conquers All

Azrael is dead.

The most terrible Necromancer the world ever knew has at last succumbed to the call of his own trade, and all of his foul works have fallen into ruin.

Or has death itself been cheated?

A thousand years later, the earth once scorched by death magic is again alive and green, and coveted by two empires of men.
Azrael is all but forgotten.

But history forgotten is often relived.

A small troop of soldiers stumbles onto the rubble of an ancient keep and finds a relic of chilling beauty and tremendous power. But with power comes the seduction to use it, and when life and death hang in the balance, that seduction becomes overwhelming.

Yet there are fates worse than death....

For when Azrael's Deathmask is taken up by a human hand, the master of death will live again, and his ancient and terrible powers will be reawakened. But even faced with horrors unspeakable, there are those who will pay the price - any price - for power and victory, even if the cost is in human souls....

But how can there be victory when life for Azrael means death for the world?
